Description:

3m of brown material
2m of rope
Needle and thread
2 bits of wood (we used some garden trellis offcuts) and a bit of string to make a cross

Fold the cloth in half, cut a head hole out. Sew up the sides a bit, leaving arm holes. Use the bit of head cut out to make a hood, sew on hood. Pull over head, tie rope around waist, put on cross.
If you want to go all the way like Nick, then shave a big baldspot onto the crown of your head, and voila.
Beer blessings can be found by doing a google search.

This monk's costume follows the basic design of a jedi knight or jesus robe, with some rope tied around the waist. It was used at an Octoberfest party, so that this monk could bless the beer.

What about weddings? Will pay many barrels of beer to be blessed by the nicmonk. (especially if he includes that anti-syphillis charm).
